Of course, that depends on how you define success. If we go by the BM measures, no 10 win season, no ranking...then yes, it's a failure...but that could have been as much from scheduling too many potential losses every year, as much as it was not beating average teams like Virginia, Utah, etc. in seasons past.

...but even with wins vs. those teams, we're talking about 9, wins instead of 8. BYU needs to build hype, and 8-9 win seasons don't accomplish that. The hype will bring the recruits, then the level of difficulty could be ramped up. Next year is shaping up to be a disaster that even Taysom Hill can't avert.
