Yeah, it was cool that we got to see the same actors age over 12 years, but I'm not sure I really cared about watching those particular characters for 12 years. Half way through I was begging for the movie to end. The risk in making a movie like that is that the stars will be able to act and be interesting after 12 years. It worked for Ethan Hawk, he was great, but I can't say the same for the two kids. They got less interesting as the movie went on. Big thumbs down.
