When a player has the ball and is shooting a FT, and his teammate steps off the
line and heads to the backcourt, that's a violation.
It's not a chance to stop the game, take the ball from the FT shooter, direct the other player back to the line, and then restart the FT attempt.
And yes, rebounding is a problem.
