There is someone lying and at this point...
I say it is the NFL that is the liar.

You know when you get asked by your superior if you did something you know (and they know) you are supposed to do. (but you didn't really do it) "Of course I did it boss."

"OK. I believe you. It must be those scheming Patriots that let air out of the balls."

But after 60+ interviews (none of which was with Tom Brady oddly enough) they can't find a smoking gun. NFL goes back to referees and says are you sure? Referees say "well they felt firm enough... we didn't actually use an actual pressure gauge on the balls before the game."

Which means their claim that the pats must have let air out of the balls has no merit since balls coming out of the ref's room are 100% game ready so the Pats assumed they were at 12.5 psi and went with that.

The NFL is now trying to figure out how to extricate themselves from the situation by hiring a big shot lawyer.

Of course just my humble opinion.
