A gal in my neighborhood who had been divorced a while, married a guy a few years ago. I'll just refer to him as "Bill". He seems like a nice enough guy, and we have been able to get to know him quite well. On the surface he seems genuine and normal. He went to England on his mission somewhere around 1980-81ish.. Later joined the military, moved to England, married, and lived there for 20 years. (I am not sure on dates and years, but these are approx). He later divorced after about 18 yrs, while still in England, moved back to the region (inter-mountain west - where he is from)..anyway, like I said he married this woman and all seems fine!

Now, this guy tells me he played pro soccer in England which he said was equivalent to triple A, 1 step below big time pro! So I asked him how long he had played soccer prior to playing at this level, and he said he never played until he got to England, then he "just picked it up and got good". Said he played for New Castle. THEN, I hear he has been telling neighbor youth-aged folks that he ALSO has played triple A baseball right here in the US! SO, now I ask him about that myself, and he confirms he played triple A baseball. Then just last night his wife tells some of the kids in the neighborhood that he played for the Red' triple A team. Well, needless to say that is easily verifiable and upon a gander to the internet, where a site shows every single player who ever made an appearance in minor league baseball..EVER, from single A to triple A... they are listed! "Bill" was NO where to be found. I have also yet to see his name associated with anything related to soccer in England, or New Castle! This guy seems like phony all the way around..the way he paints himself, and acts..I can see right through it. WOW! I know its not a huge deal, but WOW! Why lie about things that can be verifiable!? *shakes head in disbelief* part of me wants to put him on the spot with direct questions asked from curiosity, and part of me simply says to store it in my mind, be aware, but then drop it...It makes me really wonder what other tales this guy is hiding behind!...He has already said that he worked for Area 51 (I swear he did) while in the military, but could/would not discuss 1 iota about it... Prob another nice tale too! Sadly, down deep I think his wife is aware of some of these fraudulent claims, but she wanted sooo badly to get re-attached that I really think she is helping cover them or "over looking" his deceit. What the heck else is up with this guy!?
