Utes have won 16 games this season, two by less than double digits.
This matters in Pomeroy's system which ranks Gonzaga #3, Arizona #4 and Utah #6.
Among other things this militates against the conclusion that the P 12 is stronger than the WCC save it has 2 top teams compared to one in the WCC.
Not bad that BYU, not at full strength, took the #s 3 and 6 teams to the wire.
Its possible that the Cougars could have the same kind of hard luck the rest of the season.
