I don't think that's necessarily true. Their CEO did an AMA on reddit and
specifically stated that they aren't out to recreate the cable model, only time will tell what that means. Ultimately, I think this is a big step in the right direction. Even if this first offering isn't perfect, someone, whether it's Dish/Sling or someone else, will likely get it right.
