Any advice for dealing with insurance adjusters? I have a claim for about 10k in
electronic and metal detecting equipment that was lost during filming of the History Channel series. Long story short, the production company assigned someone to take care of it. In the chaos of filming the person forgot to transport it back and left it in the field overnight. When they went back to retrieve it a flash flood had came and wash it all into the river with was about 50' away.

Their insurance finally assigned an adjuster to it and they want a 20 minute recorded statement. I had already submitted a written one.

My primary concern is them trying to be sneaky and get me to say something that may cause them to deny the claim. I have no idea what that would be, but, they're more familiar with this than I am.

Some of the equipment was given to me via a sponsorship deal from various manufacturers. They gave me some expensive and updated equipment too keep in return for using it in the show. Much of it was less than 2 months old so I'm hoping they don't depreciate it too much...
