Usually I will try to watch as many football and basketball games as I can. Football this year has killed it for me. I go to very few games, but I went to the Utah State game and was thoroughly disappointed at the preparation for the contingency of Taysom getting hurt. We should not lose to Utah State at home that badly even with a backup QB. And the fight after the last game was the last straw. The team appeared out of control and until something big changes, I will now be a casual fan. In my opinion, the current situation isn't going to work long-term and it's about as good as it's going to get for us as an independent. That, and Utah is leaving us behind and it's going to get worse. I really hope I am wrong, but something better happen in the next year or two or a lot more are going to get disinterested.

Those of you that can be engaged and supportive, I applaud you but I can't do it. There are more important things to do and until they figure this out, I'm on the sidelines.
