BYU done in your lifetime (say...the last 10 years or so, as far as you can really remember) to merit coming there?

their peak under the only coach you've ever known (assuming you've followed them that long) is 11-2 and a top-20 ranking, beating some middle of the road pac-12 team in the LV bowl. a few MWC titles are nice, but you can't even get those now. ESPN is a huge selling point but that only carries you so far.

meanwhile Utah can talk about their pac12 membership, playing USC and Oregon at home last year or playing Michigan, ASU and UCLA at home while traveling to the likes of USC and Oregon. they too are on ESPN a lot, have great LDS ties (coaches, players, RM's, students, etc) but aren't necessarily "mormon" for the non-LDS kids, 2 BCS bowl wins, more weeks ranked last season than BYU has had during all of independence.

we are a wounded and dying program and our little brother is stepping over our soon to be dead carcass while he runs right passed us with a big giant smirk on his face.
