His dad used to be BYU fan. After his wife left him, he drifted away from the church and became more of a Ute fan, but not a huge Ute fan.
He is also only 6'5, not 6'10. He played in college for an NAIA school.
His mom has been up and down with her activity in the church and her views of BYU.
