I've grown pretty weary of all the voices who think they know how to fix the problems, though. I was a more-active CB user at the end of Anae's first tenure. There were many, many vocal people who would jump all over Anae, call him an offensive idiot, and proclaim that his play-calling was THE biggest problem, allege that his offense was holding back all of the great talent on the roster, etc.
All that "insider" and "knowledgeable" criticism came as BYU's offense set multiple records, lead the nation in multiple categories, won conference championships, won individual awards, and put more-than-usual numbers of offensive players into the NFL.
I took from that experience that the vocal voices who claim to know the underlying problems with a program are usually full of garbage.
But the proof is in the pudding at the end of the day. If Bronco can't beat the likes of Mepmphis, Nevada, UCF, USU, Utah, etc. AND more-often beat the likes of Nebraska, Texas, P5-schools, then he should be fired.
