I've been a diehard BYU football fan since the late 70s and I think I'm now as apathetic as I've ever been. Obviously, five straight disappointing seasons is a significant contributor to that apathy, but my apathy is fueled much more by our place in the college football landscape--outside the P5--and our failure to capitalize on a spot in the Big 12 when it was there for the taking. BYU appears to be on a slow but inevitable death march. It's hard to watch.

More evidence of my apathy? I used to follow recruiting very closely. Now, I couldn't name one commit in our 2015 class. I'm blissfully unaware of what so many of you are so upset about.
