Absolutely, but I stand by my earlier statements
If BYU is in a P-5, you will not see the negativity that you see now.
The number one reason is BYU's position in the CFB world. To say that it is because BYU went 8-5 is stupid. 8-5 in a P-5 would be fine. But in independence we need to be 12-0, 11-1. Few teams ever reach that status. The reason is not 8-5, it is 8-5 as an independent, meaning that the real reason is not being part of a P-5.
