some how our two youngest didn't even wake up. oldest two boys are kind of freaking out (6,5). holy crap that's deafening. what is frustrating is i just replaced the batteries and cleaned out the two highest ones to reach and there still appears to be a glitch. but this wasn't the "chirp" sound it makes when it's out of battery this was straight up "wake up cuz you're gonna burn to death" alarm sound.

what would cause that? all alarms now have solid green light except the one in master bedroom that i just replaced...it's a flashing green light. house is about 9 years old so maybe our landlord just needs to replace them all. thankfully there is a breaker outside just for the "smoke alarms" so if they do that again i'm flipping that switch.

3 hours of sleep last night and it appears like it will be another long night with either fake fire alarms or scared kids. ugh.
