I just assume that most of them have no idea what they're talking about. So yes, I wouldn't trust the vast majority of them, but I don't think they are maliciously hiding information, just trying to pretend they know what they're doing.

Used car salesmen and politicians I think often know the truth and intentionally hide it and/or lie about it to get their way so I trust them the least.
