This is just the start I'm assuming. What's sad is most of these people probably don't have other skills they could find other jobs for. It's also going to hit the state's tax revenue.

"My husband had worked for newfield for 13 years. Since the very first day they put up a rig in the basin. He had worked his butt off to become a company man for them and they didn't even bat an eye nor give any explanation yesterday as to why he was losing his job of 13 dedicated loyal years of service for newfield! They kept employees with less than 6 months of service and sent him packing. We know nothing else. We will lose everything and I can promise you the low gas prices are no constellation."
