When Indy was first announced, series with UNC, Clemson, and Miami were also rumored frequently on CB.
- The Miami AD said in a local paper they were in talks with BYU at the time for a H-H-N, but we never heard what happened.
- The UNC series supposedly fell apart when the academic scandal hit them.
- Clemson supposedly didn't happen because they were demanding a 2-for-1 (of course, we then signed 1-and-dones with Michigan and Nebraska).

I'm just going off of memory of CB rumors, so these could all be way off.
