Excited what today's announcement means for quality football in the state of UT.
Hi. I'm Matt. I'm an ALUF. I used to be a BYU hater. Then as I got older I realized how stupid it is to take the rivalry too seriously. Don't misunderstand. I'm not a BYU fan. I sometimes publicly tell people that I want BYU to win certain games, but I always smile when / if they lose. I'm sure that will never change.

But, aside from being a Utes fan. I'm a huge college football fan. It's my favorite sport to watch and follow. It's kinda weird to follow a team so closely that I don't cheer for. Maybe I need therapy...

This Independence ride has been quite the roller coaster for BYU. As a fan of college football and a resident of the state of Utah. I would love to see BYU playing top level P5 quality opponents every week. The Utes' schedule is now solid year in and year out. But, if BYU could continue their trend of playing better teams each season...that would be good for all sports fans in our state.

Awesome to see BYU get some serious public recognition and validation today from the ACC. Excited to see what it entails. I'd love to see BYU in the PAC or the Big XII, but even if ya'll stay Independent...it would seem like scheduling better teams in the future just got a whole lot easier after today's announcement.
