Probably, most recruits want to know what's for them at the end of the season
BYU only offers the Poinsettia bowl as reward for a good season....and this year BYU has no bowl tie in...meanwhile, schools in conference not only get to play for a championships, they also get to play for a chance at a big bowl.
But until all the colleges say so like Notre Dame. SEC still claims BYU isn't a P5 and the SEC hold a lot more sway than the ACC.
