Even in this day of the internet, we see some very interesting things here. BYU is continually ripped for not offering Porter, and his Dad says things about BYU, yet thankfully we don't hear anything from BYU on why they didn't offer. Enough said. There is some valid reason, especially to the BYU coaches, why they haven't offered Porter. Which way would you rather have it, that the school comes out and explains what happened that is not common public knowledge, or just accept the fact that they didn't offer? If Porter were my son I would much prefer the latter, and would move on from there.
