huh? not sure i follow. with a "legacy kid" the hope is that the parent
that went to BYU and played on team might somehow give you an advantage with their kids if they are good enough to play D1 football.
of course you can't predict it, but you'd hope at least the parent wouldn't steer their kid away from their alma mater. with guys like buck and reid and empey, that might not be the case. it especially hurts when you lose a legacy kid to a rival.
