That's funny, because of the conversation I was just having with my wife.
I've enjoyed a 6 figure salary for some time, and I've had no complaints (who would?). But we'll (as empty nesters) have a 8 figure salary by the end of 2015 (unless we totally screw up our current trend). We were just talking about how weird that will be. We're not the big spending type. And we're not the type of people to live high off the hog. We want to build a livable tree house with cash and probably a really nice motor home. Other than the expense of traveling a lot in our golden years, I can't fathom what I'd spend money on, other than activist causes.

This project we're doing in Rexburg is derived from an economic service missionary calling by the church. I didn't know there was such a thing, but it will help so many people and so many families (has to do with addiction rehabilitation... that's all I can say). It's just a side project that I feel passionately about, and even though it's a 6 figure contract, it's pretty small potatoes compared to the other things we're involved with. I guess I should also pose the question on CB, what do all of you very successful, wealthy CBers do to stay grounded? I'm not terribly worried about it, because I know my wife and me?

Mind you, I haven't been to church in 18 years. And despite the recent dysfunction on CB lately, I still trust this social crowd more than any other group I've ever been exposed to. As weird as it might sound, this is my family. Even if I'm criticized here, I know there are good people who will private message me and give me great advice.
