False. Was in Georgia twice in the last 3 years and ate at several BBQ spots
Honestly... I didn't care for any of them. In fact I was surprised to not only find myself not impressed, they were legitimately gross.
This mindset that a well cooked meal is predicated on the geographic location is false and silly. Good food can be found anywhere, and bad food can also be found anywhere.
With that said, Texas does consistently have great BBQ. Can't speak for KC, Memphis but hear they are also consistently good.
