He always did scantron and I got a test back and realized the scantron had docked me a couple of questions it shouldn't have. I brought this up to him and he asked me to come to his office with him. He proceeded to tell me a story when he first started teaching. He handed back a test and a girl came up to him after class and said the scantron totally messed up her test and she got a bunch of answers right that were marked wrong. It was something like 35 questions. He gave her the benefit of the doubt and gave her the points.

They take another test and it is the same story. Scantron messed up her test. This time though he made a photocopy and compared her answers to when he had it and after. She had erased all of the wrong answers and corrected them and said the scantron messed up. He promptly failed her and kicked her out of class.

After he tells me this story, he looks me in the eye and asks if me if I want him to proceed, or if I just wanted to be docked the points. I said yes I wanted him to check and everything was fine.
