Yet no one would suggest that in any way diminished MJ's career. Nobody would suggest that Malone was a better player than MJ. Just because Haws breaks Jimmer's scoring record, it doesn't change the fact that Jimmer was a better player in his prime than Haws was (and I'm a gigantic Haws fan).

I honestly don't understand why anyone would care that Haws breaks the record.
