it is not crazy
but even when Jimmer was a Sr and Davies was a Jr, I wondered that. As a Senior at BYU, Jimmer was a ball stopper. The team played well without him. It clearly went down hill when Davies got suspended. Would that team have gone down hill without Jimmer? Yes, of course, but they still had Jackson.

Jimmer just had a couple more magic moments than Haws. One was the Utah midcourt shot. The other was the elevation shot in the NCAA Tourney win over Gonzaga. Haws still has a chance to have 1-2 such moments.

Haws almost had one of those highlight moments last night. On his drive to the hoop with about 3 minutes left, he elevated to dunk over two guys and almost did. He was high enough to do it, but he didn't want to take the chance of missing, so he sort of did a 2-handed finger roll instead. I'm glad he put the victory as the first priority, but having dunked in that situation would have given him an immortalizing highlight.
