The Auburn/LSU game is played in the first week of the season
(Sept. 19, this year), When a game is played it's not what defines it a rivalry game.
When we were in the same conferences, it made sense to have the game played as the last game of the season. That's no longer the case. Whether the game is played at the beginning, the middle, or the end of the season it will still be a rivalry game.
