Very, very few have had the physical gifts of MJ. He was a lot faster than most
his size. Even as far as athletic wings go. While he didn't retain the freakish speed into his 30s, he still had plenty to be a great man-defender against every young wing in the league. Very few have been able to do that.
But I do agree with what you're saying as well. The guy really locked in to the game.
