No, actually, you do not. You appear to not understand the charter system at
all. I've actually been a founder of a charter school. We've had our kids in charter schools, in traditional public schools and we have home schooled for a couple of years one of our children. You don't know at all what you are talking about. There is an accountability system in place for home schoolers. My daughter would check in with a proctor (who would also proctor her exams) and they would be scored by a traditional school teacher. Home schoolers on average do just as well on college entrance exams (if not better) than traditional school students.

Our charter school had considerably higher test scores than the other surrounding elementary schools. The public schools claimed we were cherry picking the best students, but that just isn't true. Kids are randomly lotteried into the charter schools. We got a cross section of students. In fact, parents with kids who struggle in the traditional schools tend to flock to charter schools. In some cases, the charter schools get filled with kids who have been kicked out of every other high school/middle school in the area. So while we scored higher than the other elementary schools in the area, I concede that it is pointless comparing schools just by scores without know the socioeconomic background of the schools (among other things). Just as it is pointless for you to use your biased, small sample size to form your opinions on home schooled kids.

My point is your statements are obviously biased. I have no issues with most of the traditional public schools. In fact, currently all of my kids but one are in a traditional school. I think schools make little difference. It is all about the parents and the home environment. I'm also experienced enough with both the other options you mentioned to know that you are just wrong and obviously biased.
