Last week I was returning the rental car we used while on vacation in California.
While the paperwork was printing, the employee noticed my BYU hat and immediately started talking about how crazy the ending of the bowl game was.
He asked if any punishment was announced yet for (I assume) Nacua. He didnt remember his name, but said "the dude that came from behind and hit the other on Memphis".
He didn't seem to be on either side of the debate because he kept mentioning the Memphis guys swinging their helmets.

From my point of view it seemed to leave an impact on at least some college football fans.
