We ended up deciding on the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites. We also ended up booking it for Sunday-Friday instead of the Monday-Saturday we were planning because it was $46 cheaper. We decided that being within walking distance to the park and having a free hot breakfast was more important than having a separate living area since we don't plan to be in the hotel that much anyways. We got a pretty good deal of only $658 for 5 nights - which for a 3 star hotel within walking distance of the park with free parking and free breakfast is a pretty good price.
