wouldn't be a bad choice. In the NBA, coy is generally to a coach whose team overachieved compared to expectations. I know BYU didn't overachieve, but with injuries at bad times and the one big with experience being out for most of the year, this year the NBA way could have given it to Rose. Few already has a "few" coy awards. Rose has yet to win one in the WCC.
