We're seeing a lot of college consolidations right now.
Larger state schools in particular are buying either small private institutions for satellite campuses or the infrastructure of online schools for expansion. The smaller schools just don't have the resources to stay afloat.

Personally, I think if we saw another BYU, it would be in Texas, California, or Arizona. We're more likely to see small online campus sites open up to facilitate needs in regions like the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast.
