When you look closer at these games though, his effect is strange

Look at the +/- of all the starters. Westbrook pulled two of these triple doubles in OT, one with 43 minutes played, the other at 42. That's a ton of minutes for regular season games. He still has games where he shoots in the 30s percentage wise and just dominates the ball too much. I'm really biased though and don't like Westbrook or their coaching. He is certainly fun to watch in highlights though. His coast to coast was crazy.
