Bid stealers - how many of them are there really?
Everyone knows that Gonzaga is in no matter what happens in the WCC tourney, so if someone else were to win the WCC tourney that would guarantee the WCC 2 bids. How many conferences are there where the conference tournament favorite will get in even without winning their tourney, but if the favorite did win the tournament then that team would be that conference's only invitee to the NCAA tournament. Or similarly, how many conferences are a "lock" to get 2 teams in, and those 2 teams will be in even if an unexpected 3rd team wins their tournament?

In other words, how many legitimate bid-stealing threats are out there? Seems to me that there aren't really that many... that in most cases an unexpected team winning the conference tournament knocks someone else in their conference out of the tournament rather than bursting someone else's bubble. For example, if St. Mary's were to win the WCC tourney that would definitely burst BYU's bubble, but wouldn't send another bubble team packing.
