Yes, it is spring ball and we're desperate for football talk. I just didn't take you as one to put much concern on who is where, who is starting, etc. It means so little, I'd rather talk about what individuals are stepping up, who is playing well and might stick in the depth chart later, what permanent moves have been made, maybe some roster (height/weight) updates, etc.
Talking about depth charts in spring ball, worrying about whom is playing over whom, it just doesn't matter with so many guys out and normal starters taking it easy. Spring ball is what it is. It's a time for rehab, new guys getting a few reps, working out, etc.

In answer to your #1 question... Yes, it is a skeleton crew. It it always is. You just seemed surprised.

Your #1 and #2 points just made it seem like you were concerned. It's all just transparent fluid right now. Nothing to blink twice at. Just normal spring ball stuff... And even then, it's only week 1.
