I started in the engineering group and most of those I worked with had been around during the Scout days. They had been the engineers and designers who helped create those beasts. Of course they all had them and had maintained them well... they knew those things inside and out. There were several that I coveted and I wish I had a cherry Scout to call my own. Those beasts were unstoppable but for their Achilles heel, rust.
