You make vanilla ice cream, open up a package of oreos into the ice cream maker, and churn. The pieces get broken up by the churning, so you will get large chunks of cookie.
Pecan pie is made the same way: vanilla ice cream, then dump an entire whole pecan pie into the maker. The churn breaks it up, so you get big pieces of crust and pecans in the ice cream.
Thanks, now I'm craving Blue Bell!
