It makes sense that he has already been given 4 years at the university and the scholarship is needed for players coming in to the program who have already been paying their own way.

Still, one scholarship will almost definitely go to Kyle Davis so if Austin's is in the mix, then it might be available to Toolson, Kaufusi or some other player.

I would be really hesitant about offering this kid not because of his surgery, but because we already have his body-double on roster in Isaac Nielson. Hamson would be outweighed by Karnowski by more than 100 lbs. 100 lbs! Not to mention that without Haws, Halford and Winder, the wing position has become more the position of concern heading in to next season.
