Nike hooked up BYU and the Cougars leak pictures of a retro white/royal road combo for first time ever. Sure enough, they trot out in royal pants and white jerseys and helmets with royal trim for the first time ever. Taysom makes “SEC speed” look pretty dang slow. Another tough battle, where many are surprised to see BYU match up physically and athletically with another “P5” school…especially from the SEC.

After a brutal back-and-forth battle all game long BYU scores with 4 minutes left as Taysom finds Mathews for a TD in the corner of the endzone…BYU survives, 28-17.
