My summary of wrubell's season summary and outlook:
he sorta said the best team lost vs ole miss. he blamed it mostly on "one of those fluky nights". KC had a really weird game, and had he not been stupid and gotten that 4th foul after the 3 by halford, byu would have won. 25-0 in points off of turnovers, without that byu wins. the turnovers in the 2nd half killed us, and that was a lot due to KC being off his game. weird game, and very unsatisfying, but still a successful season.

he's very excited about next year and thinks we'll be better. he talked a lot about davis' moves, skills, and "vinegar". he's fiery, apparently. byu needs that. talked about aytes too. and hartsock. and emery. he thinks emery can come in an be a dynamic scorer that byu will need without haws/winder. actually didn't really talk about kaufusi, that i heard.

didn't think there was really any chance of KC leaving, he has too much to improve upon and show the nba. next year KC could have an all-america type season and have the national spotlight on him from day 1.

overall, he was VERY optimistic about next year. he said Rose, contrary to what people may think, is an inside-first coach and his system needs a post scoring threat, and this year didn't have one. next year he will.

so, my opinion....i'm VERY glad we have fischer still. we need someone to make 3s with haws, halford, and winder gone, that's taking away a lot of 3s. KC ain't gonna do it. so, next year our threes are gonna come from fischer and emery....lots to put on a frosh. wrubell seemed very optimistic.
