RE: i put the large majority of the blame for rob daniel's performance
I think that we probably have the best mid major coaches that we can get for the money we pay them along with the honor code stress and all the other Church requirements. I think they earn every penny the get and more. I would hate to lose any of them. I know they are good and talented because of all the effort and success they bring to the team in winning that first major P5 type team each and every year. Our coaches are great.

Having said all that deserving praise, I also find fault because after winning that first important game, they get tired and give themselves a break and lose some of the following games that we are scheduled to win.

I think that they blame the team sometimes by saying they did not execute well enough to win that last game, instead of saying that we as coaches let down and did not have our team ready to win that last game that we were favored to win.

I think that there have been times that they blame the Church values of God, Church, Family, Education before football as an excuse to take a family outing before an important game, (Utah), instead of staying with the team and getting the team ready. I think that the tired coaches sometimes use the team as an excuse saying that the team needs time to heal and rest, when indeed, it is the tired coaches that take the time off to rest instead of using the bye week to get ready for the next major game. (SAN FRANCISCO BOWL) .

I don’t want to throw the baby out with the wash. Instead, I want to get extra help for our coaches so that they can last the full season without getting too tired to do their best coaching, taking time off to rest during bye weeks, or going of family outtings before preparing to play Utah.

I love the coaches we have now. I want them to do better. I want them to coach each game and put in the same preparation for each game as they do for that first P5 type game of the season. Our coaches are fantastic. Thanks.
