Bronco’s stated reason for having the game of Friday Night, instead of Saturday, was to do something different. He like the sound of Saturday Night Lights.

He also likes all the cute slogans, “Quest for Perfection et.al” He likes changing the color of uniforms for special games.
He likes sensationalism. I don’t.

I like solid football without all the cuteness.

I think that history will show that the color change of uniforms for special games has served more as a distraction which tends to take the team members off focus. We have too often done poorly when making the change.

Loosing focus is most demonstrated when we play in Hawaii. As a team, we tend to be too much in awe of being in Hawaii and lose focus.

Being serious about football for me, is much better than trying to be cute. Being cute and playing football is a bad blend for me. I don’t like it.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Be a strong, well trained, well coached, football team. Leave the cuteness of the middle schoolers.
