Laptop screen not working.

Compaq cq56 screen doesn't work. Physically looks good and can see backlight on. Computer works fine hooked to an external display.

Changed the screen and no luck. What else could it possibly be?

do you see the splash screen when it boots up and then the screen goes blank?

Could be a loose connection connecting the laptop screen and the mobo...

Yep, bought a brand new screen. Replaced old one. Connections are good
