I caught some dinner in Reno (beautiful city, by the way), and started driving while the sun was still fairly high in the sky, then it started to get into the early evening light, and even the twilight. Normally, that light makes anything look amazing, and if you are trying to show your house to potential buyers, that is always the best time to do it. Even in that light, that section of Nevada was pretty darn ugly.

I'll have to check out the Ruby Mountains and the Jarbridge Wilderness as you suggest. If I have learned anything from the State of Wyoming, it is that Casper/Rock Springs/Rawlins/Evanston share are in the same state as Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. In other words, don't judge a state by its stretch of I-80
