I just finished hiking the west rim trail in Zions and *other* places for a total of 19.2 miles and 4500' - 5,000' elevation change. I'm tuckered out and stiff from the hike. I didn't feel like crawling under a car... but I did anyway. Can't tell if my block heater busted or if the radiator drain spigot got torn off. It doesn't appear to be a hose disconnect. No mechanicing tools with me...
So I called AAA for a tow to a recommended place in St. George. I contacted some friends (the AD of Snow Canyon). I'll stay at their place tonight and tomorrow night. I've already gotten a commitment from the mechanic to fix it Monday morning. I sent my family home with some friends who had been hiking with us. They turned around an exit or two down the freeway and came and picked them up.
Thanks for all your help CB. I appreciate it.
