Talking to coach Graham from ASU at the clinic last year, they did something similar to what Bronco did this spring. Bring in refs, not only to monitor all their scrimmages but also meet with the team and explain what each official on the field does, where they are watching, what they are watching for and when they will call penalties.

I don't know if Bronco did the same in terms of the meetings, but ASU, ranking 120th Erickson's last year (worst in FBS) to 12th, 19th and 18th in fewest penalties per game in the first 3 years under Graham. He runs things discipline wise very similar to Bronco, so I hope this has the same effect.
