Buy-in is probably one of them while on the other side of that coin was coaching.

The absolutely biggest issue in my opinion was injuries. Jordan Johnson and Craig Bills should have been the stars and the best players on the defense. Instead one missed the entire season and the other played extremely sporadically.

I do believe there were camaraderie/cohesiveness issues a year ago. Part of that was players, part coaching and part the lack of leadership from players who should have been playing but weren't. In football and especially the secondary you need to trust the guy next to you to do what he is supposed to. I don't believe there was a lot of trust on the field a year ago.
