This is true from a hassle perspective not necessarily from a risk perspective
amazon will still refund the money if there is an issue, but may have to wait until the deadline for arrival has passed to file a claim and then file a claim but in the end you still be protected. but i agree I dont like dealing with haslle of things that are not shipping from the usa.
